Club will be held on Monday, October 6th at the Orange Park Library- Meeting Room B beginning at 8:00pm.  There will be
a Board Meeting at 7:30pm.

Deadline for all announcements and articles is the 15th of  each month.  This newsletter is issued free to all JSSC members and friends approximately 10 days prior to each monthly meeting.  Articles appearing in this newsletter do not constitute endorsement of the subject matter by The Jacksonville Shetland Sheepdog Club, Inc. and may be reprinted provided credit is given to the author and The Sheltie Pen.                  

 

THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB SHALL BE:
Encourage and promote the breeding of purebred Shetland Sheepdogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of breed as adopted by the American Shetland Sheepdog Association and as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by with Shetland Sheepdogs shall be judged.

To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at all dog events.

To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.


                         

We will be awarding a Good Sportsman Award at our October shows.  Please have all nominations into Tammie (tammie@foremostkennels.com)
by October 1st.
